Topic: Chemical analysis for two-phase flow and JP10-air detonation

内容简介:

氢和碳氢化合物的详细化学反应涉及大量的组分和反应。许多科学家和工程师使用简单的一步反应(我们称之为整体化学反应),既不能提供正确的放热性,也不能提供正确的诱导时间。进一步地,我们必须考虑高压对超声速燃烧、爆震燃烧的反应机理的影响。本讲座将研究面向单相和多相流动以及化学反应应用涉及的复杂的反应机制及应对策略。JP10的化学反应很复杂,而且是液相。当我们需要应对液相如液滴时,我们需要考虑蒸发、液滴尺寸,液滴破碎等等一些液相问题。本讲座将通过JP10液相爆震以及旋转爆震发动机的数值分析提供液相的研究策略。

Introduction:

Detailed chemical reactions for hydrogen and hydrocarbons deal with a large number of species and reactions. Many scientists and engineers use simple one-step reactions (we say “overall chemical reactions”), which do not provide either correct exothermicity or correct induction time. More over we have to worry about high pressure effects on such reaction mechanisms for supersonic combustion; say, detonation. This talk will provide numerical study on what we have to do with complicated reaction mechanisms for single- and multi-phase flow chemical reaction applications. A JP-10 reaction is complicated and especially is liquid. When we have to deal with such liquid phase like droplets, we have to take care of several liquid phase problems such as evaporation, droplet size, droplet break-up, and so on. This talk will provide liquid-phase treatments through JP10 liquid-phase detonation and rotating detonation engine through numerical analysis.

报告人简介

林光一,日本青山学院大学机械工程系教授。加州大学伯克利分校硕士,科罗拉多大学博尔得分校博士。林光一教授是爆震研究的国际领导者,最新的工作包括圆管和矩形管中爆震结构的三维详细数值计算,以及三维旋转爆震。现任国际激波会议咨询委员会委员,日本爆炸学会理事,《Proceedings of Combustion Institute》编委等。曾任日本爆震协会主席,《Shock Waves》编委等。曾获国际爆炸动力学和反应系统最高荣誉A. K. Oppenheim奖,波兰科学院Wactaw Cybulski奖章等。

Speaker’s Biography

A. Koichi Hayashiisthe professor in Aoyama Gakuin University. He obtained his M.Sc. in UC Berkeley and Ph.D. in University of Colorado, Boulder.Hehas been an international leader of detonation study. The most recent work includes three-dimensional detailed numerical calculation of detonation structures intubesandspinning detonations. He is the international advisory committee member of Int. Symp. on Shock Waves, board member of Japan Explosion Society, editorial board member ofProceedings of Combustion Institute, et al. He was the president of Detonation Society in Japan, editorial board member ofShock Waves, et al. He was awarded the A.K. Oppenheim Award from IDERS, Wactaw Cybulski Medal from Poland Academy of Science, et al.
